We can personally transport pigs 1 year and younger ourselves for an additional cost (sometimes we can make arrangements for older pigs depending on the situation). We charge $0.85 per loaded mile within 500 miles of us.
Transport is stressful on animals. By staying with us for transport the animal is already familiar and calmer, making it less stressed when it arrives. We do stop to feed, water, and check on their safety.
We offer transport as a courtesy to our customers and our pigs. Please consider that we are spending not only the time to drive there but back. In addition to time away from our farm, there is the expense of gas, food, and if a real distance lodging.
When we can get more than one pig on a route we may be able to offer a discounted rate. We are happy to haul for nearby farms on routes we are already taking.
At this time we recommend Boston’s Pet Transport as another service for transport. They are able to accommodate longer distances. You can find them via Facebook or message us for more info.
Each state has their own import requirements. A CVI and other requirements may be necessary before travel. These are done at the expense of the purchaser. Please message us for more info.
