Maia Moon Bug (Awakino/Whakanui) AKKPS 47525

I am so excited and over the moon to add this gilt to our herd. Maia (My-ya) Moon Bug. I will probably call her everything from Maia to Mooney to Biscuit butt.

Her name Maia means great mother in Greek, in Roman is the goddess of spring and fertility, and in Maori (native New Zealand) means brave or confident. This girl is all of those things. Moon Bug is also another name for firefly. Since she came to us from Firefly Mountain it was fitting.

I can’t find a flaw with this girl. We are just getting to know her well and already love her to pieces
